Day 1 - Istanbul

Arrive to Istanbul, Turkey where you are met and escorted to your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 2 - Istanbul - City Sightseeing
Today’s tour starts with a visit to the Spice Bazaar, the center for the spice trade in Istanbul. Continue on the Bosphorus Cruise, a magical journey which covers both European and Asian shores You see the marvelous monuments and districts like: Maiden Tower (Kiz Kulesi), Dolmabahce Palace, Ciragan Palace, Ortakoy, Fethi Ahmet Pasa Mansion, Ortakoy Mosque, Beylerbeyi Palace, Kuleli Military School, Arnavutkoy, Bebek and more highlights of Istanbul located on both sides of the Bosporus. In the afternoon cross over the Bosphorus Bridge to Asia and visit Beylerbeyi Palace, which was the summer residence of the Ottoman Sultans. We end our day with a visit to Camlica Hill, one of the highest point of the Bosphorus and Istanbul. The Camlica Hill has a wonderful panorama including the Sea of Marmara, the Bosphorus, Historical Peninsula and islands. (B)

Day 3 - Istanbul - City Sightseeing
Enjoy a second full day sightseeing tour of Istanbul. Visit magnificent St. Sophia’s Basilica built originally by Constantine the Great. We continue our visits with the fascinating and impressive Blue Mosque, famous for its six minarets, it’s beautiful blue Iznik tiles, unique architecture and marble latticework. Then visit the Byzantine Hippodrome where chariot races and competitive athletic events took place. Tonight we will have an authentic dinner in the Kumkapi Gypsy district famous for its street restaurants. Enjoy an authentic dinner here tasting various Turkish Meze and other local dishes. Finally we try famous Maras ice cream before returning to our hotel. (BD)

Day 4 - Istanbul / Gallipoli / Troy / Assos
Depart from Istanbul and drive to Gallipoli and visit Anzac Cove, Nek, Conk Bair, Lone Pine and 57th regiment memorial and the war museum. We cross over the Dardanelles and visit Troy, the site where the legendary Trojan War took place. Continue to Assos for the evening. (BD)

Day 5 - Assos / Pergamum / Kusadasi
Drive to Pergamum and visit Asklepion, an ancient hospital. Later we arrive to Kusadasi for the evening. (BD)

Day 6 - Kusadasi - Ephesus & Sirince
Morning visit to Ephesus to explore the Greco-Roman ruins. Enjoy lunch in a nomadic tent in Selcuk to taste Turkish Gozleme. We continue Sirince where you are able to experience one of the most beautiful villages in Turkey. We’ll have time for shopping and to taste delicious wines before returning to Kusadasi for the evening. (BLD)

Day 7 - Kusadasi / Bodrum
Morning drive to Bodrum. Upon to your arrival visit Bodrum Castle which host one of the best under water collection in the world. We then visit the ruin of King Mausoleus tomb. After the tour you will be transferred to your hotel. (BD)

Day 8 - Bodrum - Optional Gullet Cruise / Pamukkale
Morning optional half day gullet cruise available (weather permitting, additional cost). Sail the Aegean Sea and have chance to visit beautiful bays. This afternoon we travel to Pamukkale. (BD)

Day 9 - Pamukkale / Hierapolis / Konya
Today we drive to Hierapolis to visit the lime cascades and the site. Then continue for Konya. Visit the monastery of the Mevlana Whirling Dervishes. (B)

Day 10 - Konya / Turkish Cooking Class / Cappadocia
Morning drive on the ancient Silk Road to Cappadocia, visiting a Seljukian Caravanserai along the way. Upon to your arrival you will visit Turasan wine factory and enjoy tasting beautiful wines of Cappadocia. This afternoon we enjoy a cooking course. You will meet Turkish cuisine and learn to cook Turkish food. (BLD)

Day 11 - Cappadocia
Early in the morning an optional Balloon tour is available (weather permitting, additional cost). Enjoy a full day excursion in Cappadocia including visits to the Kaymakli Underground City, Open Air Museum in Goreme and natural fortress in Uchisar. Today’s lunch will be in a cave restaurant to taste the famous pottery Kebap. Optional Turkish folklore evening available (additional cost). (BL)

Day 12 - Cappadocia / Ankara / Safranbolu
Morning departure for Safranbolu, stopping in Ankara on the way to visit the Ataturk Mausoleum. This is the burial place of the national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey. We continue our drive to Safranbolu, the world heritage town of Unesco which is considered as an open air museum. Tonight’s accommodations are in a historic building. (BD)

Day 13 - Safranbolu / Istanbul
Today we visit the old town of Safranbolu where you can test the fine sample of Turkish delights. This afternoon return to Istanbul and continue with a guided tour of Topkapi Palace. (B)

Day 14 - Depart Istanbul
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. (B)
