Day 1: Tuesday March 28 2017 - Arrive Tokyo

After passing through customs and collecting your luggage, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Wednesday March 29 2017 - Tokyo's Best Cherry Blossom Spots Tour & Sumida River Night-time Cherry Blossom Cruise (BL)
Pick Up: Keio Plaza Hotel Main Tower
Start your Cherry Blossom Spots Tour by visiting Showa Kinen Park. The entire park is home to approximately 1,500 cherry trees "that bloom in full glory." Inside, there is a vast garden with a beautiful landscape formed by roughly 200 cherry trees amidst an expansive lawn. There is also a bridge from where rows of cherry trees can be seen lining the river. Participants will be guided to the captivating "cherry blossom viewing spots in the park." Enjoy spring in Japan to the full as you gaze upon delightful tulips, rape blossoms, bonsai trees, a Japanese garden, and other blooms of the season. Then visit Tokyo Tower Main Observatory. Enjoy a bird's eye view of cherry blossoms! See a sweeping panorama of the city from 150 meters above the ground. Visit Chidorigafuchi/Kitanomaru Park or Shinjuku Gyoen. Possibly the most popular cherry blossom viewing spot, this place is visited by over 1 million people from all over the country each year. Delight in the wonderful scenery of a tunnel of beautiful blooms formed by 260 Yoshino and Oshima cherry "trees along the water. "Later visit"- Shinjuku Gyoen". Shinjuku Gyoen opened in 1906 as a Japanese-style garden for the Imperial Palace. When spring comes, 65 varieties of cherry trees bloom proudly throughout a long period. Those who missed the cherry trees' peak blooming times can still enjoy "cherry blossom viewing here."

In the evening enjoy a Night time Cherry Blossom Cruise on Sumida River. On this limited-time cruise, enjoy the illuminated night time cherry blossoms and a traditional Furisode-san dance performance, all set against a beautifully lit-up Tokyo Skytree¬ģ in the background. For dinner, savor a bento made specially for this cruise from the long-established Japanese restaurant "AsakusaImahan." Select 1 drink from non-alcoholic beverages, beer, or canned chuhai (shochu highball). Sumida River Nighttime Cherry Blossom Cruise. After disembarking, please head to your hotel on your own.

Day 3: Thursday March 30 2017 - Tsukiji Outer Fish Market and Sushi Workshop (BL)

Enjoy a walking tour of the Tsukiji Fish Market in central Tokyo. It is the biggest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world and also one of the largest wholesale food markets of any kind. The market handles more than 400 different types of seafood from cheap seaweed to the most expensive caviar, and from tiny sardines to 300 kg tuna and controversial whale species.

After visiting fish market visit Sushi-making Workshop. Try your hand at sushi-making using seasonal seafood ingredients. This fun workshop is led by a sushi chef who teaches participants how to make sushi. Please head to your hotel on your own.

Day 4: Friday March 31 2017 - Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour /Kyoto (B)

After breakfast depart Tokyo for Mt. Fuji. We begin at the Five Lakes District dominated by majestic Mt Fuji. At 12,400 feet, it is Japan's highest mountain and most recognizable icon. It is an active volcano, which most recently erupted in 1708. This perfectly shaped volcano has been worshiped as a sacred mountain and experienced big popularity among artists and common people throughout the centuries. Mount Fuji is a symbol of Japan. The mountain contributes to Japan's physical, cultural, and spiritual geography. Ascend to the 5th Station of Mount Fuji to enjoy some spectacular views at 2,300m (weather permitting). After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant continue to the Owakudani Valley where you will see volcanic activity and enjoy black eggs boiled in the geysers. Continue on to the beautifu town on Hakone,where the cherry blossoms are noted sights in this area, in the Spring this is known as (sakura) and in autumn the (susuki). Hakone is one of the most popular destinations among Japanese and international tourists looking for a break from Tokyo. Take a cable car ride over the crystal clear blue waters of Lake Ashi, where you'll see the rising volcanic fumes of Owakudani and enjoy the spectacular grandeur of Mount Fuji (weather permitting). Later enjoy a boat ride on Lake Asahi and enjoy it's scenic beauty.

Day 5: Saturday April 01 2017 - Full Day Kyoto Cherry Blossom Tour (B)
Pick Up: Kyoto Hotel Okura / Karasuma Kyoto Hotel
Depart by bus on a full day Cherry Blossom Tour. Visit Ninna-ji Temple a World Heritage site. The Omuro Cherry Trees which blossom at Ninna-ji Temple are a late-blooming variety, and their arrival marks the end of cherry blossom season in Kyoto. These cherry trees are shorter and feature double-petaled blossoms. If the Omuro cherry blossoms are not in bloom, the tour will visit the temple's Goten (Palace and gardens), which is built in the style of an imperial palace. On the temple grounds you'll also find the Kondo main hall which is a national treasure, a 5-storied pagoda designated as Important "Cultural Property, and more." At Ninna-ji Temple, the tour will visit the Omuro Cherry Tree area when cherry blossoms are in bloom. If cherry blossoms are not in bloom, the tour will visit the temple's Goten (Palace and gardens). Next visit Tenryu-ji Temple a World Heritage site. Tenryu-ji Temple is a zen temple and one of Kyoto's leading sightseeing spots. The mountain Arashiyama provides a natural backdrop in the garden where visitors can admire various types of cherry blossoms. Stroll around Arashiyam. The tour will visit Arashiyama's world-famous bamboo grove. After lunch visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine & Hirano Shrine. You will be guided through Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, famous for the patron god of scholars, and Hirano Shrine. Hirano Shrine is bustling during this season, with many types of cherry blossoms to be seen throughout its grounds and a teahouse.

Today you will also visit Heian Jingu Shrine, A shrine built to commemorate the 1,200 year anniversary of the transfer of the Japanese capital to Kyoto. This is now one of the representative shrines of Kyoto, featuring vibrant pink cherry blossoms which contrast brilliantly against the tranquil pond and verdant garden. Okazaki Canal & Kawabata-dori Street (drive by) On this tour, cherry blossoms can be admired from on board the bus as well. See cherry trees along the Okazaki Canal and Kamo River along the way. Later you will return back to your hotel.

Day 6: Sunday April 02 2017 - Kyoto City Tour (BL)

Your tour of Kyoto this morning will include a visit to Nijo Castle, which was built in the seventeenth century and is noted for its gorgeous interiors. One of the most striking features of the castle is the "nightingale floors" found in the corridors of the castle. To protect the occupants from sneak attacks, the builders constructed the corridor floors so that they squeaked like birds when anyone walked on them. You will then visit Kinkakuji Golden Pavilion. The pavilion was originally constructed as a residence for retired shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu. After Yoshimitsu's death in 1408, it was converted into a Zen temple. The pavilion was reconstructed in 1955 after a fanatic monk burned it down. It now houses sacred relics of the Buddha.

You will also visit Kitano Tenmangu. It is famous for housing the God of scholarship. This shrine's main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to "see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons." Last you will visit Craft workshop at Kyoto Handicraft Center, the tour lets you experience block print, cloisonné work, and other crafts at the craft workshop. Tour ends at Kyoto Handicraft Center. Please head to your hotel on your own after the tour.

Day 7: Monday April 03 2017 - Kyoto Sagano Bamboo Grove &Arashiyama Walking Tour with Yakatabune Lunch Cruise (BL)
Pick Up: New Miyako Hotel
Start your tour with a visit to Tenryu-ji Temple, a World Heritage site. The Japanese garden is complimented by the beautiful landscapes of Arashiyama, and has been "registered as a Special Place of Scenic Beauty." Then visit Sagano Bamboo Grove. Enjoy a relaxing walk through the Sagano Bamboo Grove. Visit Jojakko-ji Temple, this temple overlooks the town of Sagano and the city of Kyoto. The area is famous for its beautiful scenery when the colored leaves cover the mountain in autumn. Visit Togetsu-kyo Bridge, this Bridge is a famous 250-meter-long bridge in Arashiyama, and offers a spectacular location for viewing cherry blossoms or colored autumn leaves. Board the Yakatabune Boat for a Japanese-style lunch. Tour ends after Lunch. Leave Kyoto Station for Tokyo Station by JR Shinkansen "Nozomi ". Upon arrival in Tokyo please make your own way to your hotel.

Day 8: Tuesday April 04 2017 - Tokyo Hotel to International Airport (B)
You will be met at your hotel and transferred to Narita international airport for your onward journey.
