Tour Overview:
This tour will take you to some of the most magnificent spots in the country; in addition to that, we will also hunt for the amazing Northern Lights. Highlights include the famous Geysir hot spring area, beautiful waterfalls, the unique Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon and much more. The tour is designed to maximize your chances of witnessing the breathtaking Northern Lights. However, despite our long experience in leading groups, please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon that is very hard to predict, hence sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Day 1: Welcome to Iceland

Individual transfer from Keflavik airport to Hotel Klettur in Reykjavik.

Day 2: The Golden Circle

Today, we visit the Golden Circle and end the tour near Vik where we will stay for two nights. The highlights of the day are Thingvellir National Park, The Great Geysir hot spring area and Gullfoss the golden waterfall. Along the way, we stop at a horse stable, and a green house where the guests get to taste fresh and juicy Icelandic tomatoes. (B)

Day 3: Frozen Glacier

Day Drive along the iconic Icelandic black sand, passing glaciers to the Glacier Lagoon and Skaftafell national park. (B)

Day 4: Volcanos and Waterfalls

Walk on the black volcanic sands, green hills, and get close to the many beautiful waterfalls of the South Shore. We will visit the new and exciting Lava Centre in Hvolsvollur. It is an interactive, high-tech educational exhibition depicting volcano activity, earthquakes. It also shows the creation of Iceland over millions of years. Take a dip in the Blue Lagoon before heading back to Reykjavik. (B)

Day 5: Good-bye Iceland
