4 Days/3 Nights – Rome – Pisa – Lucca – La Spezia (1 Night) – Cinque Terre – Siena Area (2 Nights) – Chianti Area – San Gimignano – Siena – Montepulciano – Rome

Tour Overview
This tour is designed as a small group (max 6 people) departure with an experienced driver, included guided tours and wine tastings. With SITA, you will have an intimate Italian experience. Visit Pisa, famous for its Leaning Tower and Lucca, known as the city of a hundred churches. Travel to the unspoiled Cinque Terre. Sip Nobile, one of the oldest and finest wines in Tuscany.

Day 1  Sunday – Rome – Pisa – Lucca – La Spezia

Meet your driver who will accompany you on this exclusive journey, right at Destination Italia Sightseeing office, a few steps from the Vatican Museums. You will leave at 8:00 a.m. (pick-up can be arranged from hotels in Rome centrally located) for Pisa. Explore the city and the famous Leaning Tower, a totally unique work of architectural art situated in Piazza dei Miracoli. Continue to Lucca, one of the most beautiful spots in Tuscany, also known as the “city of a hundred churches” due to the huge amount of places of worship in the old town centre. Then you will leave for the hotel in La Spezia. Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight stay. Meals: Dinner


Day 02: Saturday Vatican & Heart of Rome (B)

After breakfast in the hotel, you will receive all the information to be able to spend the day in the towns of Cinque Terre, one of the most unspoilt places in Italy, a long stretch of rocky coastline filled with bays and beaches on a crystal sea, dotted with little villages, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. Departure from the port of La Spezia and arrival by boat at Porto Venere. Then continue to Vernazza and Monterosso, the biggest and oldest Cinque Terre village, divided into two parts: the old town, and the new town. Return to La Spezia by train to reach with the driver the hotel in Siena area. Dinner in the hotel and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner


Day 3 – Tuesday – Siena Area – Gaiole In Chianti – Radda In Chianti – Greve In Chianti – San Casciano In Val Di Pesa –  San Gimignano – Siena Area

After breakfast in the hotel, discover the wonderful Chianti area, which has always been considered the heart of Tuscany, and which is famous all over the world for its renowned wines. Time at leisure to see Giaole in Chianti, Radda in Chianti and Greve in Chianti. Continue to San Gimignano and during your journey enjoy a stop near San Casciano in Val di Pesa for a wine tasting in an enchanting local winery. Once in San Gimignano, visit the old centre of this little medieval town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. A second wine tasting will be the best way to end the day. Dinner in the hotel and overnight stay. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner


Day 4 – Wednesday – Siena Area – Siena – Montepulciano – Roma

Breakfast in the hotel and guided tour of Siena, a medieval city built around Piazza del Campo, famous all over the world for its architectural beauty and unique “shell” shape. Continue to Montepulciano to taste ‘Nobile’ wine, one of the oldest and finest wines of Tuscany. Immediately afterwards, depart for Rome to arrive in the late afternoon (with drop off guaranteed at Viale Washington, Viale Luigi Einaudi / Termini Area and Via Ludovisi). Meals: Breakfast
