Tour Overview: Enjoy this 9-day tour that starts in Mexico City and travels to San Miguel de Allende, a colonial city with beautiful mansions and a Gothic Cathedral; Zacatecas with its baroque Cathedral and historical center; Guadalajara, the second largest city in Mexico with its unique history and culture; and relax in beautiful Puerto Vallarta on the Pacific coast.

Day 1, Tuesday – Arrive Mexico City
Arrive in Mexico City today. Welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2, Wednesday – Mexico City / Queretaro / San Miguel de Allende (290 km)
Early morning depart to Queretaro. City visit followed by 1 hour drive to San Miguel de Allende. Explore this colonial city with its beautiful mansions and it’s symbol the Gothic style cathedral. (B)

Day 3, Thursday – San Miguel de Allende / Guanajuato (94 km)
Depart to Dolores Hidalgo and proceed to Guanajuato, an hour drive away, and City visit. Admire the Basilica; the University; the picturesque, historic center with it’s narrow colonial roads; the underground streets (former riverbeds); the famous Callejon del Beso (The Alley of the Kiss) and enjoy a panoramic view from the EI Pipila monument. Day 4, Friday – Guanajuato / Zacatecas (310km)
Depart for Zacatecas. Visit to the historical center and the Cathedral, one of the pearls of Mexican baroque architecture, built in rose stone during the XVIII century. Visit the Plaza de Las Armas; the Cerro de la Bufa hill offering a fantastic panoramic view of the city; and the Mine of Eden. (B) Accommodation: City Express Zacatecas

Day 5, Saturday – Zacatecas / Guadalajara (362 km)
In the morning enjoy a scenic 4-5hours drive to Guadalajara, named for its beauty – ”The pearl of the Occident”. Arrive and visit of the neighborhood of Tlaquepaque famous for manufacturing the finest handicrafts of the state. Visit the borough of San Pedro Tlaquepaque, once an independent village and now a part of the city, whose inhabitants are dedicated to the manufacture of glass blowing and a variety of arts and crafts; here you can choose excellent souvenirs of your holiday. Day 6, Sunday – Guadalajara
Today, visit of the historical center: the Teatro Degollado, the Palacio de Gobierno, the Cathedral, the Rotonda de los Hombres Ilustres monument (Rotunda of Illustrious Men) and a panoramic visit of the Hospicio Cabañas. Depart to the “Tequila” region, home of the ancient and famous Mexican alcoholic drink. At the Tequila village enjoy a demonstration of the whole manufacturing process in one of the best Tequila distilleries. Return to Guadalajara. (B)

Day 7, Monday – Guadalajara / Puerto Vallarta (310 km)
Transfer to the bus station. Arrive and transfer to Puerto Vallarta on deluxe coach. Rest of the day at leisure. (B)

Day 8, Tuesday – Puerto Vallarta
Full day at leisure. (B)

Day 9, Wednesday – Depart Puerto Vallarta
