Entebbe

Situated on the shores of Lake Victoria, Entebbe is a pleasant colonial town in Uganda, offering a relaxed stopover option if flying in or out of Uganda. With clean air, safe streets to walk, old colonial gardens and the lake in background make for a serene atmosphere.


Murchinson Falls National Park

Murchinson Falls sits on the shore of Lake Albert and is known for Murchinson Falls, where the Nile squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar into the Devil’s Cauldron, creating a trademark rainbow. Uganda’s best known nature reserve, the park has a thriving population of elephants, giraffes, lions, antelope, waterbucks, buffalo, hippos and crocodiles.


Kibale National Park

With a diverse array of landscapes, Kibale is one of Africa’s foremost research sites. Famous for Chimpanzee trekking, Kibale is home to a total of 70 mammal species, most famously 13 species of primate including the chimpanzee. It also contains over 375 species of birds and is one of Africa’s most rewarding destinations to explore.


Queen Elizabeth National Park

Covering almost 2000 sq km, Queen Elizabeth National Park is highly biodiverse, with over 95 species of mammals, including hippos, lions, elephants, leopards as well as hyenas and chimpanzees. The park is also famous for its volcanic features, including volcanic cones and deep craters, many with crater lakes such as the Katwe craters, from which salt is extracted.


Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

A UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site and spread over a series of steep ridges and valleys, Bwindi is known for its exceptional biodiversity. Home to almost half of the world’s mountain gorilla population, there are approximately 400 gorillas living here. As one of Africa’s most ancient habitats, the park has over 120 mammal species and over 350 bird species.
