Day 1 - Arrive Seoul
Once arrived at Incheon Airport, a Korean speaking driver will take you to Seoul for the first overnight of the trip.
Day 2 - Seoul City Tour
After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel and start the tour with Seoul. After breakfast, you will visit the Seoul Kimchi Academy, where you will learn how to make Kimchi (김치), Korea’s most iconic traditional dish. This hands-on experience offers a fascinating introduction to Korean culinary culture and traditions. You will then head to Gwangjang Market, one of Seoul’s oldest and most famous traditional markets. Here, you will have free time for lunch and the opportunity to sample a variety of local specialties while exploring the vibrant atmosphere of the market. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a Hanbok-wearing experience before visiting Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautifully preserved royal palaces of the Joseon Dynasty. The tour continues to Bukchon Hanok Village, home to hundreds of traditional Korean houses, followed by a visit to Insadong, Seoul’s cultural district known for its traditional crafts and art galleries. Day 3 - Seoul - Suwon - Daejeon
After breakfast, you will journey to Suwon to discover the magnificent Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Korea’s finest examples of Joseon-era military architecture. Encircling the historic heart of the city, its impressive walls, gates, and watchtowers offer a fascinating insight into Korea’s royal past. You will then continue to the Korean Folk Village, an open-air cultural complex where traditional houses, artisan workshops, and folk performances bring centuries of Korean history vividly to life. This immersive experience provides a unique opportunity to explore the customs, lifestyles, and traditions that shaped the nation. Upon arrival in Daejeon, you will enjoy a relaxing foot bateeeeh experience at Yuseong Foot Spa, a perfect opportunity to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Day 4 - Daejeon - Muju - Mt. Maisan - Jeonju
Today, you will travel to Muju, a picturesque mountain region renowned for its vineyards and natural beauty. Here, you will visit the famous Muju Meoru Wine Cave (무주 머루와인동굴), a unique underground attraction where you can discover the history of Korea’s native wild grape wine and enjoy a tasting experience in a truly distinctive setting. Your journey continues to Tapsa Temple at Mt. Maisan, one of Korea’s most intriguing spiritual sites. Nestled beneath the twin peaks of Maisan Mountain, the temple is renowned for its extraordinary stone pagodas, meticulously stacked by hand and shrouded in local legends. The day concludes with visits to Gyeonggijeon Shrine, home to the portrait of King Taejo, founder of the Joseon Dynasty, and the enchanting Jeonju Hanok Village, where hundreds of beautifully preserved traditional houses create one of Korea’s most iconic cultural landscapes. Arriving in Jeonju, you will take part in a traditional Hanji paper-making experience, learning about the craftsmanship behind Korea’s celebrated handmade paper, prized for its beauty and durability for centuries. Day 5 - Jeonju - Sunchang - Gangjin - Gwangyang
After breakfast, you will travel to Sunchang, a region celebrated throughout Korea as the birthplace of some of the country’s finest fermented sauces and culinary traditions.. Here, you will participate in a hands-on Gochujang-making experience (고추장), discovering the ingredients, techniques, and centuries-old know-how behind Korea’s famous red chili paste, an essential element of Korean cuisine. The journey then leads to Gangjin, a region known for its rich cultural heritage and elegant landscapes. You will visit Baegundong Garden, one of most beautiful traditional gardens in Korea, admired for its harmonious design and serene atmosphere, before exploring the Wolnamsaji Stone Pagoda, a remarkable relic that reflects the artistic achievements of Korea’s Buddhist heritage. Before continuing to Gwangyang, you will enjoy a relaxing tea experience at the charming Baegun Tea House Darye (다례), where the tranquil surroundings provide the perfect setting to appreciate Korea’s refined tea culture. Day 6 - Gwangyang - Suncheon - Goseong Okcheonsa Temple
Today, drive to Suncheon and begins with a visit to Naganeupseong Folk Village, a remarkably well-preserved fortified village where traditional thatched-roof houses, stone walls, and winding lanes offer a captivating glimpse into Korea’s rural past. You will then explore Suncheon Bay National Garden (or SuncheonBay Wetland), one of Korea’s most celebrated ecological treasures. Renowned for its seasonal blooms, expansive landscapes, and diverse wildlife, this beautiful destination showcases the harmony between nature and sustainable conservation. In the afternoon, travel through the scenic countryside of southern Korea as you make your way to Goseong, a region known for its peaceful mountains and historic temples. Upon arrival, you will check in for a memorable Temple Stay experience at Okcheonsa Temple, where you can immerse yourself in the serene atmosphere of Korean Buddhism, surrounded by centuries of spiritual tradition and natural beauty. Day 7 - Goseong - Busan
You will travel to Busan, Korea’s largest coastal city. Your first stop will be Gamcheon Culture Village, a colorful hillside neighborhood famous for its artistic charm, vibrant murals, and panoramic views over the city. Then, explore some of Busan’s most iconic districts, beginning with Jagalchi Fish Market, Korea’s largest seafood market. Nearby, BIFF Square and Gukje Market offer a lively atmosphere filled with street
food, local products, and bustling shopping streets. This part of the city provides an excellent introduction to Busan’s unique blend of maritime culture, modern urban life, and traditional markets. Later, unwind with a traditional Korean jjimjilbang experience in Haeundae, one of Busan’s most famous seaside districts, before transferring to your hotel. Overnight in Busan. (B)
