Tour overview:
Welcome to Norway and Havila Voyage –This tour takes you from Oslo to Trondheim by train. From Trondheim, you will embark on a Havila cruise to Bergen, stopping at several charming port along the picturesque Norwegian coastline. During short hiking to Bondhusdalen and cruise on Hardanger fjord you can marvel at towering waterfalls sparkling blue waters. Flåmsbana train journey and cruise from Flam will bring you to Gudvangen, village that is a home to Viking heritage and folklore. Finally the tour takes you back to Oslo!
Day 1 - ARRIVAL TO NORWAY
Upon arrival, you will be transferred from the airport to a hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can start exploring Norway already today. Walk along the streets and explore the city of the royal family, and the main Karl Johan’s Street, with many shops, bars, and cafes. Meet your Tour Leader at the reception of our hotel for an informative meeting about your tour (In case of later arrivals the meeting will be at the next day’s breakfast).

Day 2 - OSLO – TRONDHEIM
Morning departure by train towards Trondheim. Departure from hotel around 07:30am and arrival at Trondheim around 14:30pm (depending on train schedule). This journey will offer you stunning views of the Norwegian countryside, longest lake Mjosa and Vinstra region along the way. Upon arrival, panoramic city tour of Trondheim ending at hotel. Afterwards rest of the day at leisure.Trondheim is the third largest city in the country. Vikings settled on the estuary of the Nidelven River in the tenth century. Before the sixteenth century it was called Nidaros. Green and flowery city, it is pleasant to stroll in the center, in the pedestrian streets and the old quarters. Panoramic tour of the city with a glimpse of the Cathedral of NIDAROS, which is one of the most beautiful Gothic ensembles in Northern Europe. (Breakfast buffet)
Day 3 - HAVILA CRUISE FROM TRONDHEIM - BERGEN
After breakfast, a bus will transfer you for boarding on Havila Cruise latest by 09:00. We sail through the wide Trondheim fjord that is bounded by rolling farmland on both sides and enter the coast and the open sea.You can disembark in Kristiansund and be driven along the Atlantic Ocean Road (Optional Activity with a supplement), which has been called the world's most beautiful drive. The road meanders along islets and skerries, and afterwards you can re-embark in Molde.Lunch on board. Havila Voyage harvests natural resources. Day 4 - BERGEN
The last day of the cruise takes you through a diverse coastal landscape of bare rocky mountains and a maze of sounds and waterways between many islands. The great fjords and glaciers are situated inland. Bergen awaits at the end of the voyage. Bergen is the Gateway to the Fjords of Norway. As a UNESCO World Heritage City and a European City of Culture, the Bergen region has the ideal combination of nature, culture, and exciting urban life all year around. Lunch on board of the cruise Arrival to Bergen at 14:45 . Upon arrival meet your local guide and enjoy a 2 hour tour of the city of Bergen. Pass through the most emblematic places such as the Hanseatic Bryggen, with the church of Mary, the Hakon fortress and the famous fish market. (Breakfast buffet on board the cruise.)

Day 5 - BERGEN.
After breakfast you will have a chance to admire a view from mountains surrounding Bergen. The Fløibanen funicular in Bergen is one of Norway’s best-known and most visited attractions. The journey up to Fløyen (320 m above sea level) takes about 5–8 minutes. After funicular trip you will taste a platter with specialities like smoked salmon, fresh shrimp or hot smoked whale in one of the restaurants at the fish market. (Breakfast buffet in the hotel.)

Day 6 - HARDANGER FJORD - BRANDHUSDALEN AND SORFJORDEN
In the morning departure towards Hardangerfjord. Short cruise to reach Bondhus. From here you will start your hiking adventure. The trail is very easy and one way hiking will take ca. 60 minutes. The magnificent icefall and valley have drawn tourists since the mid-1800s. As you walk from the quay in Sundal, a hamlet on the shore of the Maurangerfjord, you are retracing a historic path toward Bondhusvatnet lake. Late afternoon we will embark on the electric boat to enjoy Hardanger known as one of the most romantic destinations in Norway. Fruit production is the core of Hardanger, and in Summer the fjord is surrounded by rows on rows of fruit trees blossoming in pink and white. Add the views to snow-covered peaks, and the romantic vibes are complete. Either you are staying inside the vessel’s lounges or standing outside on deck, you will have great views to the scenic landscape dotted with small farms and cute villages. Day 7 - VOSS - FLAM - GUDVANGEN – BORGUND CHURCH - GOL
Morning departure towards Flam with bus. If you decide to take the optional train ride, the bus will leave you at the train station in Voss. First part of the train journey takes you to Myrdal station. Myrdal station is a mountain railway station and junction, located about 13 km from the village Flåm. There you will switch to Flåmsbana train. Flåmsbana is one of the steepest trainlines in the world and the train journey runs through fantastic nature, past the Rallar road, steep mountains, breathtaking waterfalls, through 20 tunnels and offers so many viewpoints that many feel like travelling multiple times between the mountain and the fjord. Whether you arrived here by bus or train, in Flåm you will *Schedule permitting, join a cruise to Gudvangen, sailing through the idyllic Sognefjord, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Free time in Gudvangen to explore the Open Air Museum - Viking inhabited village (Optional Entrance). After lunch (optional reservation) driving toward Gol with a stop at Borgund Stave Church. Day 8 - GOL - OSLO
Today you will return to Oslo. Continue along the beautiful scenery of Norwegian highlands and coast of Lake Kroderen. In the afternoon, upon arrival in Oslo, you will enjoy a 3-hour sightseeing tour with a local guide. The guided tour of the city includes a visit to the Frogner Park, including more than 200 sculptures of Gustav Vigeland.You will also see the magnificent Royal Palace, City Hall and Akershus Fortress. (Breakfast buffet in the hotel.)
Remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 9 - DEPART OSLO
Enjoy some last-minute shopping for the Viking souvenirs. You will be transferred to the airport from your hotel. (Breakfast buffet in the hotel.)
