6 Days: Abu Dhabi

Tour overview:

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates. As modern and wealthy as any of the neighbouring Emirates it does offer the visitor fascinating glimpses of the Gulf culture as it exists today. This tour gives a good overview of the city but also gets you out into the desert and to Al Ain at the Omani border.

Day 1 - Arrival In Abu Dhabi

Arrival at Zayed International Airport, Abu Dhabi. Meet and Greet by Desert Adventures Airport Representative. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at Bab Al Qasr Hotel, Abu Dhabi or simillar.

Day 2 - Abu Dhabi City Tour

Pick up from the hotel for a full day tour of Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi City Tour Known as one of the world’s largest producers of oil, the capital city of the UAE is a gem to discover. Wander around Abu Dhabi’s cultural landmarks and be mesmerized by the magnificent skyline it has worked on through the years.

• Stop by Yas Island and take photos at the iconic Ferrari World (we could remove this since they will go to Ferrari World on Day 3)
• Sneak a peek into the relaxed modern city life in Abu Dhabi as you are driven to the heart of the city, along the Corniche.
• Discover the emirate’s past with a visit to the Heritage Village, a reconstruction of a traditional oasis village that features the desert way of life. (Suggest changing this to Qasr Al Hosn, which is more
• interactive. Qasr Al Hosn is the first building structure in Abu Dhabi)
• Marvel at the grandiose Emirates Palace along the way and remember to take photos.
• Explore the majesty of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a palatial architectural wonder that is one of the world’s largest mosques.

Day 3 - Abu Dhabi Ferrari World Tour

Day at leisure to enjoy Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. Transport by own arrangements. General admission tickets are included.

Day 4 - Al Ain City Tour

Full day Al Ain tour. Al Ain City Tour A UNESCO World Heritage site, Al Ain City is a treasure trove of the country’s history—from its picturesque forts to the home of the beloved founding father Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan. Walk through this “Garden City” and learn how the UAE came to be.

• See traces of ancient civilization at Hili Gardens where you will find archaeological artefacts dating back more than 5,000 years.
• Be the royal family’s guest at Al Ain Palace Museum, an old fortress that used to be the home of the late ruler Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan.
• Soak in the tranquillity of an oasis lined with date palms and have a handful of dates picked especially for you.
• Dig deeper into the country’s traditions at the Al Ain National Museum.

Day 5 - Abu Dhabi - Yellow Boat Tour

The Yellow Boats 60-minutes Corniche Tour. Explore Abu Dhabi’s iconic skyline from the water and feel the thrill of a high-speed boat tour! See the UAE capital from a fresh perspective as you cruise across the Arabian Gulf on a guided rigid inflatable speedboat tour.

• Abu Dhabi Marina – Start your journey from Marina Mall & Emirates Palace Marina
• Rixos Marina & Heritage Village – Cruise past Abu Dhabi’s cultural gateway and traditional landmarks
• The Corniche – Speed along Abu Dhabi’s famous waterfront with skyline views and photo stops
• Lulu Island – Pause at this iconic man-made island for stunning coastal panoramas
• Qasr Al Watan – See the Presidential Palace, a masterpiece of Arabian architecture, from the open water
• Activity is available between 09:30 hrs until 17:00 hrs

Afternoon Tea at Observation Deck at 300, Conrad Etihad Towers (note the deck is currently closed – no reopening date known yet)

Considered the highest vantage point in Abu Dhabi, you'll get to take in sweeping views of the city and its fascinating skyline. You'll also be able to see the Arabian Gulf and the Corniche, one of the most iconic roads in Abu Dhabi with its beachfront location and pristine promenade.

Day 6 - Depart Abu Dhabi

Pick up from hotel – Transfer to Zayed International Airport Abu Dhabi for departure flight. (B)
