Chile’s capital, Santiago is a cosmopolitan city with an energetic beat. As you explore the city, you’ll find 16th century architecture and modern mirrored skyscrapers; museums filled with pre Columbian to contemporary art; a lively nightlife, sidewalk cafes, world class hotels and restaurants.

Day 1 - Arrive Santiago

Arrive in Santiago. Welcome and transfer from the airport to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel

Day 2 - Santiago City tour

Enjoy a panoramic city tour of Santiago this morning, viewing all of the main attractions. Travel to the east side of the city to downtown Santiago, to see the modern and ancient buildings and how they have transformed the city. Visit Santa Lucia Hill, where the city of Santiago was founded in 1541. Later continue to the Plaza de Armas, to see the Cathedral of Santiago, the Municipality, the Post Office Building and National History Museum. Finally view the Government Palace and take the opportunity to walk through some of the most traditional streets and neighbourhoods. Following this you may visit Piedras Australes handicraft shop which is well known for its beautiful pieces of lapis lazuli, before returning to the hotel. (B)

Day 3 - Santiago – At Leisure

Full day at leisure to pursue independent activities or take an optional tour to Valparaiso and the surrounding vineyards. (B)

Day 4 - Santiago Depart

At selected time transfer to the airport for departure flight.(B)
