7 Days / 6 Nights: Santiago, Punta Arenas, Magdalena Island & Torres de Paine

Tour overview:

Our 7-day adventure in Chile starts in the sophisticated capital city of Santiago. Travel to the central coast with visits to the ‘Garden City’, Viña del Mar and Valparaiso with its multicolored houses. In Patagonia, visit Magdalena Island to see the penguins and Torres del Paine National Park with its granite peaks, glaciers, and waterfalls.

Day 1 - Arrive Santiago – Afternoon City Tour

Arrive in Santiago. Welcome and transfer from the airport to the hotel. Afternoon depart from our hotel in Santiago to begin our journey towards the city center, where we will know its main attractions. Then, we will travel downtown, where we can see modern and ancient buildings and how they have transformed the city. Later, we will continue to the Plaza de Armas, where we can see the Cathedral of Santiago, the Municipality, the Post Office Building and National History Museum. Our journey will continue along the Government Palace and where we will have the opportunity to walk through some of the most traditional streets and neighborhood. Return to hotel in Santiago.

Day 2 - Santiago Valparaiso & Vina Del Mar

Departure from hotel towards the central coast of the country. Your first visit begins in Viña del Mar, also known as “The Garden City” thanks to the large number of parks and gardens that are appreciated. We will make a stop at the city´s famous flower clock and Acapulco Beach, one of the most important in the central coast. Then, we will arrive at Valparaíso, declared Cultural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO, full of multi colored houses in the hills, parks and various national monuments. Some of the attractions that we will visit include Bismarck Square, Cerro Alegre, Yugoslavian Promenade and Sotomayor Square. In the afternoon you will return to our hotel in Santiago. (B)

Day 3 - Santiago / Punta Arenas

Transfer to the airport. Fly to Punta Arenas, a city near the tip of Chile’s southernmost Patagonia region. Arrive and transfer to your hotel. (B)

Day 4 - Punta Arenas – Magdalena Island – Punta Arenas

NAVIGATION (ROUND TRIP) FIORDOS DEL SUR III ISLA MAGDALENA

During the one hour navigation, our English speaking guide brings complete information about the tour until we arrive at Magdalena Island, where we disembark and visit the Penguins for about one hour. We return back to our pier.

(3-Nights Hotel Las Torres All Inclusive Program)

We’ll pick you up from the hotel in Punta Arenas for a scenic trip to the Park. Along the way, if coming from Punta Arenas, you’ll receive an authentic Patagonian welcome with a traditional smoked lamb barbecue and pisco sour at our family-owned Cerro Negro Estancia. Once you have arrived at Hotel Las Torres you will be able to explore our stables or organic garden, dine in our restaurant, enjoy cocktails at the bar or simply marvel at the extraordinary views of the Park. Day 5 - Torres del Paine Day

Two half day excursions daily on sharing OR one full day excursion inside the national park. (BLD)

Day 7 - Torres de Paine / Punta Arenas / Santiago Depart

Drive back to Punta Arenas, drop at airport for return flight to Santiago. (B)
