4 Days: Doha. Desert Adventure

Tour overview:
A hereditary monarchy. Qatar is ruled by the House of Thani. The country lies on a peninsula in the Persian Golf and shares a short border with Saudi Arabia. This perfect stop-over renders a comprehensive overview of modern Qatar and includes a four-wheel-drive excursion into the desert.

Day 1 – Arrive Doha

Arrival at Doha Airport. then transfer to your hotel of stay. overnight in Doha.

Day 2 – Doha – City Sightseeing

Full day sightseeing tour of Doha to discover how this rapidly changing city is successfully blending the old and the new. In the morning you will start with a visit to Katara Cultural Village. The next stop will be at the Equestrian Club to view some of the most beautiful pure-bred Arab horse. Lunch at a Local Restaurant and then move to a Shopping Mall fora a short. guided tour and free time for exploration and shopping. Then head off for a visit to the fascinating Museum of Islamic Art. followed by touring around the atmospheric Souq Waqif. (BL)

Day 3 – Doha – Desert Adventure

Our full day 4WD adventure takes us across the southern Qatari desert. with over half of this distance off-road. Our highly experienced drivers will take you on an exciting and unforgettable roller-coaster ride over the magnificent sand dunes – some as high as 50 meters! In our Desert Camp. relax. Bedouin-style. complete with carpets and cushions and our famous Arabic hospitality. Enjoy sun-bathing and a refreshing swim at our private desert beach! After B-B-Q Buffet lunch. round off a perfect day with a glorious sunset on the journey back to Doha. (BL)
