Hinduism is one of the many religions and beliefs in India. Up in the misty heights of the majestic Garhwal Himalayas, in the magnificent State of Uttrarakhand is a rejuvenating spiritual experience for the devotees. The cave is located at a height of 5200 feet and contains three stones (Pindis) each one depicting goddess Mahalakshmi, Maha Kali and Maha Saraswati.
Visit Haridwar, a holy place for Hindus. Visit temples and witness the aarti ceremony in the evening. Next, visit Rishikesh, known at the ‘Gateway to the Garhwal Himalayas’ and the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’. It was here in 1968, the Beatles wrote several songs while at a local ashram.

Varanasi, one of the oldest inhabited cities of the world, is a city sacred to Hindus, who believe that dying in Varanasi brings them closer to salvation. You will also visit the renowned pilgrimage site of Sarnath. Revered as the site where Lord Buddha had delivered his first sermon after attaining enlightenment, Sarnath is one of the four most important Buddhist pilgrimage destinations in India.
