Tour Overview – Welcome to Lapland – the perfect place to relax and at the same time live exciting moments by trying out various activities such as snowmobiling, reindeer safaris or dog sledding. Visit Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland and the Santa’s official home! Located on the Arctic Circle, this small town offers a wide range of options for visit.

Day 1 – Arrival To Rovaniemi
Arrival in Rovaniemi, the capital of the Finnish Lapland. Arrival at the Rovaniemi airport, You will be met and transfered to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Lapland is as close as reality gets to those who dream of a winter wonderland. Contrasts are a key factor in the allure of Lapland where 24-hour sunlight in the summer replaces the dark winter days. The hustle and bustle of towns and ski resorts is just minutes away from the peace and quiet of the wilderness.

Day 2 – Quick Spin Snowmobile
Breakfast in the hotel. We will start the day with some adrenaline & speed, taking part to and exciting snowmobile safari. This snowmobile adventure offers fantastic opportunity to learn how to master the art of driving a snowmobile. During the safari we stop for a break to enjoy hot drinks and the silence of the wilderness. Free time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. You can pick some optional tours to join. For example, try one of most popular one-Reindeer safaris. Sit comfortably in a sleigh and lay back, take photos of the nature around you and listen to the sounds of the reindeer caravan.

Day 3 – Husky Ride & Santa Claus Village And Aurora Evening
“Breakfast in the hotel.Start the day with immediately immersing you into the magic of Lapland. First stop today is the Santa Claus Village located on the Arctic Circle. Enjoy Lapland’s beautiful nature sitting in a dog sled! You can relax and let your senses rest in the calming scenery and surrounding silence while the guide is driving the husky team. After the safari you can warm up by an open fire in our yard and also spend time in the park meeting the other dogs. Duration of driving about 20 min. Free time for you to explore the village and meet the local star, Santa Claus, in his official home. Free time for lunch.

You can also visit the Santa’s post office to send a letter to yourself or a loved one, with the official stamp of Santa. Wander around the various souvenir shops and enjoy the magic atmosphere in the village. Aurora Evening – get ready for another included activity! Did you know that in Finland we call the Northern Lights as The Fire of the Fox? Enjoy the fresh winter air and a chance to see the Northern Lights flicker in the sky. We take you by car to the nearby wilderness where we will have the best view on the sky. During the evening you will learn about the arctic nature and enjoy stories about the culture and history of the local people. You will have a chance to try snowshoes around the fireplace. We will also have a break to enjoy some hot beverages and we get to grill some marshmallow on the campfire. At the end of our excursion we return to the city by bus – hopefully with rested and relaxed minds. Even if we can’t guarantee the Northern Lights, this program is excellent for people who wish to enjoy the great outdoor polar night.”

Day 4 – Rovaniemi Free Day For Optional Activities
Breakfast in the hotel. Free day to enjoy Rovaniemi and its surroundings as you desire! Why not to discover the magnificent Arktikum museum and learn about the Sami, original people of Lapland. Another option is to enjoy one of the many activities offered in the area, such as snowshoes, ice-fishing experiences or northern lights hunts in the evening. You can go shopping in town, or take a walk along the banks of the Ounasjoki River, to enjoy the winter landscapes of Lapland. Do not hesitate to ask your tour escort for an advice, he/she is there to make sure you enjoy Lapland to the fullest.

Day 5 – Farewell
Breakfast and at the appropriate time, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
