Established by German colonists, Swakopmund is Namibia’s biggest coastal resort town. With its pronounced German architecture and seaside promenades, it is Namibia’s adventure capital. Situated on the edge of the Namib Desert, Swakopmund’s quaint buildings and German influence create a European charm with an African flair.

The oldest desert in the world, and one of the driest, The Namib is a coastal desert stretching for 1,200 miles. Almost completely uninhabited, it is home to an astounding amount desert adapted plants and wildlife. Having been arid for approx, 55 million years, it is one of the most unique and biodiverse attractions in Africa.

Etosha

Etosha National Park

Namibia’s greatest wildlife sanctuary and one of the most significant game reserves in Africa, Etosha National Park is known for its density of wildlife. The park’s main characteristic is a salt pan so large that it can be seen from space. With wildlife in abundance, game sightings are almost guaranteed. One of the most accessible game reserves in Southern Africa, Etosha is malaria free.
