Asuncion
Asuncion is the capital and economic centre of Paraguay. A beautiful yet simple city, Asuncion still retains its colonial heritage, which is evident in its buildings and plazas. Chaco Region
The Chaco Region is the Paraguayan portion of the Chaco, South America’s largest dry forest that also includes parts of Argentina, Paraguay, Bolivia and Brazil. Known for its extraordinary number of plant and bird species, Chaco is a sparsely populated area and home to some incredible wildlife species such as pumas and jaguars. It is a special conservation area with its wide plains as well as salt flats offering stunning views.
