8 Days: Entebbe, Ngamba Island, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Chamburu Gorge

Tour overview:
Chimpanzee and gorilla tracking are the highlights of this exceptional opportunity to experience the unspoiled reserves of this pristine corner of the African continent. The vast plantations, magnificent mountain vistas and high plateaus beckon with adventure and amazing wildlife viewing.

Day 1 – Arrive Entebbe

Arrive to Entebbe, Uganda, where you are met and escorted to your hotel. Time permitting, visit the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary.

Day 2 – Entebbe / Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Transfer to the airport for our scheduled flight to Kihihi. Arrive and transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Afternoon forest walk or cultural visit. (BLD)

Day 3 – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Gorilla Trekking

An early morning trek into the forest on the slopes of the volcanoes, led by experienced trackers will bring you amongst a family of Mountain Gorillas. You will get within feet of the family and be privileged to spend time amongst them. (BLD)
Please note: Trekking and overnight may take place in Rwanda.

Day 4 – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today, those who have opted for two gorilla treks (additional cost), will set off once again into the forest. Those not gorilla trekking will be able to go on a forest walk in Bwindi looking for birds and primates with a local knowledgeable guide, or go on a local community village walk. (BLD)

Day 5 – Bwindi / Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today we travel to Ishasha, allowing time to stop off at the Ishasha Community project en route. Afternoon game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of tree climbing lions and a myriad of other species in this beautiful park. (BLD)

Day 6 – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. (BLD)

Day 7 – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Morning game drive and boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. Afternoon transfer to our lodge located in the northern region of the reserve. (BLD)

Day 8 – Queen Elizabeth National Park – Chamburu Gorge / Depart Entebbe

Early morning chimpanzee trekking at Chamburu Gorge. Later we transfer to Kihihi for our return scheduled flight to Entebbe. Arrive and transfer to the international airport for your departing flight. (BL)
