7 Days : Seoul, Gyeongju, Busan

Tour Overview:
The old and new Korea are juxtaposed in an itinerary that combines the sophisticated excitement of Seoul with the fascinating remains of Korea’s ancient past in Gyeongju. Between the two, you’ll visit the DMZ, the demarcation between North and South Korea and the most heavily armed border in the world.


Day 1 – Arrive in Korea

Arrive in Seoul. Upon arrival, you are met by an English speaking assistant and transferred to the hotel. Founded as the capital of the Chosun Dynasty, Seoul is Korea’s commercial, financial, and political hub.


Day 2 -Seoul Sightseeing- Seat in Coach

Enjoy a morning city tour of Gyeongbok Palace (built in 1394), National Folk Museum with its insights into traditional Korean life, the Blue House and the massive Jogyesa Temple. The afternoon is free at leisure. (B)

*On Tuesdays, Gyeongbok Palace→Deoksu Palace, National Folk Museum→History Museum


Day 3 – DMZ Tour- Seat in Coach

Enjoy your morning join-in DMZ TOUR (Demilitarized zone) with drive by Unification Village. Your tour will also include the 3rd Tunnel (DMZ Theater, Exhibition Hall) Imjingak Park, Freedom Bridge, Dora Observatory and Dorasan Station. (B)

*DMZ Tour is not available on Mondays and holidays. Passport is required for this excursion.


Day 4 – World Heritage Tour- Seat in Coach

Enjoy the World Heritage tour. Your tour includes visits of Changdeokgung Palace, Jongmyo Royal Shrine, Insadong antique street. Following lunch, visit Suwon Hwaseong Fortress. (B, L)

*On Mondays, Changdeok Palace→Gyeongbok palace, Jongmyo Shrine→National Palace Museum


Day 5 – Seoul / Gyeongju- Private tour

Early morning transfer to the train station- Car and driver only (No guide).
Board your express train to Gyeongju, the spiritual and cultural capital of Korea. Gyeongju served as the capital of the Shilla Kingdom, which united the peninsula in 676 AD. Designated by UNESCO as one of the world’s ten most historic sites, it is known as the “Museum Without Walls.”

You are met by a private guide and a car. Your afternoon tour of Gyeongju includes the Bulgulska Temple with its lovely pagodas and bridges, Seogguram Grotto (one of Asia’s most magnificent Buddhist shrines) and the National Museum. (B)


Day 6 – Gyeongju / Busan- Private tour

In the morning, travel to Busan (1h 30m), Korea’s main port and second largest city. Your afternoon tour includes Taejongdae Park with its vast rock outcrops and sweeping sea vistas and the UN cemetery, Jagalchi fish market,
the International market and Yongdusan Park. (B)


Day 7 – Busan / Seoul

After breakfast, transfer to Busan Airport for a flight to Seoul- Car and driver only (No guide).
Upon arrival, you will be met by a driver and transferred to Incheon International airport for your flight back home- Car and driver only (No guide). (B)
