Tour Overview:
This 4-day tour of the Istrian region combines a cruise along the Croatian coast with daily bike tours. Depart Porec and cruise to Pula, an ancient city with rich and turbulent history. In Rovinj, you will be enchanted by its picturesque medieval streets and pleasant Mediterranean vibe. And discover the small Istrian ancient town of Novigrad with its well-preserved city walls.

Day 1 Poreč – Pula (D)

Cruise: Poreč – Pula (Near Brijuni Islands)
Cycling Route: Pula – Cape Kamenjak – Pula
Length: 32 km
Arrival in Poreč and check-in from 11.00. Departure at 13:00 (later arrivals can be joined in Pula). Cruise to Pula, an ancient city whose rich and turbulent history is witnessed by monuments dating from the time of the Roman Empire, early Christianity, the rule of the Venetian Republic and later Italy: the Amphitheater, the remains of Hercules temple, cathedral, Forum with a temple dedicated to the goddess Roma and Emperor Augustus, City Hall and Pula Castle… In the afternoon we suggest going on the optional cycling tour from Pula to Cape Kamenjak where rocky beaches alternate with sandy bays. Overnight in Pula.

Day 2 Pula – Rovinj (B, L)

Length: 35 km
After breakfast, you continue sailing or cycling in the direction of Rovinj. You will be enchanted by its picturesque medieval streets and pleasant Mediterranean environment. Church of St. Euphemia in which a sarcophagus with the body of a Christian martyr Euphemia is preserved is a Baroque Venetian-style building and the largest monument in the city. The Church is located on a hill above the city, which offers a beautiful view of the open sea and numerous islands in the distance. A visit to the City Museum and numerous city galleries will complete your cultural experience. Lunch on board. Afternoon free time for swimming or cycling tour in the vicinity of Rovinj (length: 20 km). Overnight in Rovinj.

Day 3 Rovinj – Novigrad (B, L, CD)

Length: 50 km
Morning sailing or cycling in the direction of Novigrad, a small Istrian ancient town. The old town is really small, but very picturesque and easy to explore on foot. It is located on an island that was connected to the mainland in the 18th century. Well preserved city walls date back to the early Middle Ages and are among one of the most interesting attractions. Explore defensive towers, secret passages and city gates. Visit the Venetian loggia, the only one left on the Istrian coast. Lunch on board. Afternoon, free time for swimming or cycling tour around Novigrad (length: 20 km). Captain’s dinner on board and overnight in Novigrad.

Day 4 Novigrad – Poreč (B, L)

Cycling Route: Novigrad – Kaštelir – Parenzana – Poreč
Length: 35 km
On the last day of your trip you sail or cycle back to Poreč. During morning bike ride, you pass by the Istrian village of Kastelir and the former narrow-gauge railway Parenzana, which connected Poreč with Trieste, and today one of the most attractive bike trails, you come to the starting point of our cruise, Poreč. Lunch in the afternoon is followed by a farewell from the crew and all your new friends from this unforgettable trip!
