This tour program takes you around the stunning Kvarner Bay starting on Cres island and ending in Opatija in 8 days. Day 1 Opatija – Cres (L)

After embarkation in Opatija, lunch on board and departure for Cres. After docking, we cycle from Cres to Predoscica. From the town of Cres, the capital of Cres island, we cycle to the northern part of the island, to the crossroad for ancient town of Beli, the narrowest point of this longest island. We will also pass over the 45th parallel, a point that marks exactly halfway between the Equator and the North Pole. We return the same way to the town of Cres where we spend the night.

Day 2 Cres – Lošinj (B, L)

Cres is an island of a bit wild nature, very rarely inhabited, and has numerous flocks of sheep that freely graze aromatic herbs, due to which the lamb meat has a special taste, and in terms of quality it belongs to the world’s top. We will pass by Vrana Lake and stop in the old town of Osor. In the afternoon hours we arrive in the town of Mali Losinj, the largest town of the entire Adriatic islands, which became well known and famous at the end of 19th century due to its mild Mediterranean climate. Lunch on board and free afternoon for which we recommend a visit to one of the Losinj museums or to the fragrant island garden. Overnight in Mali Lošinj.

Day 3 Lošinj – Pag (B, L)

Today we cycle through Lošinj, climatically exceptional island. Combination of the coastal pine forest and sea air makes a unique aerosol with a relaxing effect on our respiratory system, especially for people who suffer from breathing problems. After cycling through Cikat bay, we will climb to the top of the island, Sveti Ivan. We return to the ship for lunch and depart for the island of Pag.

Day 4 Pag (B, L, CD)

After breakfast we will cycle along the old road towards the town of Pag, known for its salt pans since Roman times. We will pass by the Pag salt pans where salt has been extracted in an almost unchanged way for over 2000 years. We return to the ship for lunch after which we have a free afternoon for walking or swimming. The day will finish with a “Captain’s dinner” (included on Premium and Premium Superior category) where you will taste the best of the Adriatic Sea and enjoy a relaxed evening with your hosts.

Day 5 Pag – Rab (B, L)

Mandre, once a small shepherd’s place, and today a tourist center of this part of the island is our starting point to the northernmost point of the island of Pag. After cycling through the Kolan field, we arrive in Novalja, the center of entertainment for youth from all over Europe. We continue further for about twenty kilometers through a unique landscape of sheep pastures and olive groves, out of which some have been planted back in Roman times (the last 5 kilometers of our route). In the port of Tovarnele we board the ship for lunch and departure towards the town of Rab on Rab island. Free afternoon and overnight.

Day 6 Rab – Krk (B, L)

Today we will cycle through this, in many ways, unique island. We will visit the Dundo forest, the largest holm oak forest in the Mediterranean and we will see rocky sandstones in which marine organisms and shells have left their traces several thousand years ago. We return to Rab where we will take a short break for lunch before we continue cycling. If there is an interest, we can cycle to the highest point of the island from which the entire Kvarner Bay can be seen (optional). We will meet our boat in the port of Lopar from where we sail towards the last island on this cruise, the island of Krk.

Day 7 Krk – Opatija (B, L)

Course: Krk – Opatija

Due to the fact that it is connected to the mainland by a bridge and its short distance from industrial centers, the island of Krk (the “golden island”) is still well populated and extremely well visited in the summer months. In the early afternoon, we will embark the ship in Njivice, once a small fishing village, and today a tourist center. During lunch we sail towards Opatija, the old lady of Croatian tourism and the final destination of our trip. Overnight.
