Your next big adventure awaits in Greenland. Explore the scenic South West Greenland in 5 days. Start in Narsarsuaq, a small town where Greenland earned its name from the Vikings. Travel by boat to Qaqortoq, a beautiful town and one of the greenest areas in the country. Get a bird’s eye view of the Arctic landscape on a helicopter flight back to Narsarsuaq.

Day 1: Tuesday – Arrival Narsarsuaq

Upon arrival you will be met by your guide. After check in at the hotel, there will be an information meeting. Following, enjoy a city tour of Narsarsuaq including historic UNESCO World Heritage sites from the Viking Age, fertile mountains with sheep farms, deep blue fjords with multi-colored icebergs, and calving glaciers.

Day 2: Wednesday – Qaqortoq

Today transfer from the hotel to the pier for your boat transfer from Narsarsuaq through Erik´s Fjord to Qaqortoq Transfer from the pier to the hotel. Qaqortoq, often described as the most beautiful town in Greenland, has a picturesque setting between the fiord of Qaqortoq and the lake of Tasersuaq. On your city walking tour, you will see the beautiful old fountain, stone sculptures and carvings scattered throughout. 2-course dinner included at Hotel Qaqortoq.

Day 3: Thursday – Qaqortoq

Today, enjoy leisure time or take an optional excursion of your choice.

Day 4: Friday – Narsarsuaq

A helicopter flight will take you from Qaqortoq to Narsarsuaq. Flying in low altitude over the magnificent Arctic landscape makes for a most memorable way to end your trip.
Weather forbidding, the transfer from Qaqortoq to Narsarsuaq will be operated by boat.
